182/365: Bubble tea!

We got my sister a bubble tea kit for Christmas and last week we finally got around to making some! Here’re (strawberry-flavored) results of our labor — they were pretty tasty!

For those who don’t know, bubble/boba/milk tea is an Asian beverage, created in Taiwan. The “bubbles” are made of tapioca — they came dehydrated and we had to boil them to give them a nice chewy bubble-y consistency. Definitely not everyone’s cup of [bubble] tea, but I’m a fan. 😀
