It has been 10 years since I retired from Civil Service and the last place I worked was the Naval Hospital here in Bremerton, WA. The top is a full picture of the “card” they made for me and my co-workers signed. I began working at the Naval Shipyard, you have seen it across the water in some of the pictures Calma and I have posted. Then I went to work for the older hospital, shown in the second close up picture. After a couple years I went back to the Naval Shipyard for a year then back to the newly built hospital, shown in the last closer picture. On the whole the years I spent working for the government were good ones. Started out working for less than $2 and hour. Can you imagine that in this economy?

Sorry for the glare on the newer hospital picture. It is glossy paper where the older one is non-glare.

Anyway I hope you enjoy part of my history. Have a great week.

Thankyou for sharing your past with us Sable! Both the old and new buildings are pretty impressive! What a delightful and thoughtful memory of your years of service 🙂
