339/365 December Frost

As November fogs continue and December drops in temperature prevail, it leads to some stupendous landscapes.  We had an unusually thick fog on Tuesday night with -3°C temperatures.  The following morning sunshine revealed this:





The pictures were taken at 11:30 and one hour later not one sign of the hoarfrost was to be seen!  Breathtaking none the less.  What a privilege to witness God’s beautiful creativity in action.  Still no sign of the comet ISON though- fog or clouds tend to block the view.  Still hoping though-  Hope you have a great Advent season.

    Yeah, we have that stuff here, too. It does look pretty, but man is it cold.

    I have two thoughts. One – frost on the trees is a splendid sight, and one of the few things I miss about living in real-winter place. Two – I don’t miss everything else that comes with the frost at all. 😛

    There was the neatest frost pattern on my passenger side mirror but by the time I could find a place to pull over it was melted….*sigh*
