20/365 - Gas purchases by foreigners

It amazes many of us here in our area about how Canadians come down across the border to buy gasoline. I mean we are an hour or so below the border. Is it really so much cheaper that it is worth the drive when there are other places so much closer to the border?

Even the gas station operator made the comment he was floored by how much they buy.

This couple filled 5 of the smaller containers and two of the larger ones besides their vehicle before pulling out. Crazy!
