This is near where I live. Us kids use to ‘swim’ when the tide was in and would venture out to the island until someone bought it and fenced it off. Silly kids swimming in yucky water and walking in muck that had oysters and oyster shells in it. A few of us ended up with cut feet but when it’s hot and you’re kids…well you know. It was cloudy and rainy today so not a very clear picture. I’ll have to get you one on a nice sunny day next time…week…month…year, we get one. *chuckles*

Have a great week.

Ah, but children have a certain vision in their eyes that allows them to see beyond the yucky to the adventures to be had! And no doubt as a much ‘wiser’ adult, to think back on the fond carefree childhood memories as well 😉

I can remember walking in muddy creek bottoms and stepping on sharp, pointy rocks. I think we all feel indestructible when we’re kids. This looks like a very cool place to spend time.
