76/365 – We Don’t need anymore rain…..

This winter we have had more then our fair share of rain in our area. So now we are facing the flooding that will be imminent if all our snow fall were to melt quickly with any warming of Spring.

This is the Skagit River nearing the old downtown area. The far side of the dike there you can see just how close it is getting to the top.

This is a crop field along Field Road that is flooded to the point it for the most part does not look like anything but a lake.

Pictures taken in Skagit County WA.

Saw last night that this is the 3rd wettest March since they started keeping records and it’s only the middle of the month. 😯
And people were soooo worried about our dry winter. I kept saying we haven’t hit March, the monsoon season, yet. See? What did I tell you? Sheesh…. 🙄

    Cool pictures, Vana.

I sure wish you could send some of that our way! I hope y’all stay dry.

I feel for the farmers- hope they have insurance to cover any crop loss due to late planting or poor growth. Keep high and dry Vana!
