I use the yellow spice in everything, fit the lovely golden color and alleged health benefits. But I’ve never seen it in unpowdered form. Now I know.

I love going through the vegetable area of the supermarket or a farmers market. It just feels so wholesome.
Turmeric roots! Neat. And I love brussel sprouts! Especially roasted with a bit of olive oil….
I’m just stuck looking at the lovely cobs of corn!! Sadly it costs loads here. HHmmm, I wonder if you use fresh turmeric like you would use fresh ginger root? I never really thought about the plant source before. Thanks for sharing Frelga 😉
What lovely fresh produce, great shot. Not a fan of the Brussels spouts myself, but have used fresh turmeric in a couple of recipes. Beats the dry powder hands down
