186/365 – Seafood festival

So, this Saturday whilst we were on holiday, there was a Seafood Festival. The entire town gets together to make floats, and there’s a marching pipe band (which is hugely successful – they came sixth at the World Pipe Band Championships this year) and lots of stalls with local seafood. Although it rained in the morning, the afternoon was glorious. Of course, there’s a Seafood Queen and princesses.

What a cute idea for the Jellyfish and shark costumes! Not that fond of seafood either- but I’ll bet they have some wonderful local cuisine!
