197/365…. Drama In The Evening….

I know I promised more of Gamcon, and I don’t mean to steal Tooks’ thunder, but this happened Sunday night and I could not pass it up. For the last week or so it has been very warm up here. Sunday evening a storm started its way up from Oregon and before the rain came, it sent us a bit of a warning. I know it looks like Port Orchard is on fire, but it’s the sunset. We don’t see things like this very often up here so I just had to share it with all of you.

Lovely, Calma, just lovely! It actually does look like somethings on fire in the distance (sans smoke! 😀 )

Purty! We even had thunder over across the pond from you.

“Sometimes the gods have no taste at all. They allow sunrises and sunsets in ridiculous pink and blue hues that any professional artist would dismiss as the work of some enthusiastic amateur who’d never looked at a real sunset. This was one of those sunrises. It was the kind of sunrise a man rises and looks at and says, “No real sunrise could paint the sky Surgical Appliance Pink.”
    Nevertheless, it was beautiful”
    (Footnote: but not tasteful)
    Terry Pratchett, Thief of Time
