243/365 Goodbye Gambit

Gambit left us on Friday after staying around an extra month past what the doc said she would. She could find ‘pillow’ anywhere. Here she is using my blood pressure kit that is stored on the bottom shelf of a book case for a pillow. 🙂 One time she was using a plate as a pillow…*shakes head in wonderment* She would lay on the floor and use her bed as a pillow too.

We are missing her a lot and still forgetting she isn’t here and doing things we normally would when she was with us.

Anyway…have a great week all.

So sorry to hear that your beautiful Gambit has left you. They give us such joy and love, because we invest our love in them, but it is always very sad when they pass on. All the best

My deepest condolences Sable. I know how hard it is to nurse and care for a sick pet up to the end, and what heartbreak it is when they leave us (we said goodbye to two of our kitties this way), but also a comfort to know their suffering has ended. Much strength and comfort to you and yours. You have a giving, caring heart and your furry friends are fortunate to find such a loving home for their time on earth♥ ((HUGS))
