250/365 – Not Quite Fall

Our blackberries are starting to make an appearance and the fuschias are starting to go to seed but it still feels like summer as far as the temperatures go. We’re looking at upper 80’s to low 90’s in some areas and I, for one, am looking forward to Autumn. Yesterday, I took some pictures of the way the fuschias go to seed and the baby blackberries.

I am so not ready for fall but I know it is coming. The berries will be ripe before you know it and the weather will start cooling down.

Autumn is my favourite season, enjoy everyone over there. We are heading into spring and hay fever season for many of us!

Great pictures ateelah! That must be a different variety of fuschia. Lucky you to have blackberries. We just have the wild ones in the woods which are quite small.

Thank you very much! The fuschia plant is a California native and the blackberry is a vine that we got from the nursery that is supposed to do well in our climate.
