308/365 More remnants of the past….

This is the realllly big flat field down along the walking path by the Swatara Creek. See that line of trees?????

Behind the trees is this — what is left of a portion of the Union Canal that once ran along a large section of the creek. I’m standing in the middle of it, taking the picture!!! The canal fell out of use in the late 1800’s, hence the trees and brush growing all about.
