349/365 Because Berkeley

This is a sign int the window of a local business, protesting the proposed opening of a Walgreens, a big-box drug store, on a street that mostly contains small shops and local chains.

Berkeley, California is a university town and an enclave of former flower children, now quite affluent but still very liberal. So when they say they have all the drugs they need, I believe them.

It does make me sad when the big stores come in and push out the small stores. And, clearly, they’re good on drugs. 😉
