10/365 – Warming fire

To keep us all with warm thoughts, here’s a photo of my parents’ solid fuel stove. The quote carved into the mantelpiece is from Arthur Ransome, “Grab a chance and you won’t be sorry for a might-have-been.” It’s a bit of a mantra in my family.*

The roaring fire of my parents' solid fuel stove.

*The quote is actually “Grab a chance and don’t be sorry for the might-have-beens.” but you get the idea. 🙂
