64/365: Waynesville Day

The girls and I went out yesterday to the nearby village of Waynesville. It’s the Antiques Capital of the World (or something), just in case you’re wondering. It’s a very quaint little town, and we had a wonderful lunch at a nice cafe. (I had the most amazing mushroom crepes with truffle oil and balsamic vinegar. šŸ™‚ )

Of course it’s prettier when it’s sunny.

Then we went to the state park. Here’s the frozen lake (held back by a dam, but I didn’t include the dam picture).

This is the emergency spillway area with a pretty frozen “waterfall.”

Longer view of one part of the emergency spillway. This is a great fossil-hunting area.

Looks like a neat place to look about. When it’s warm of course. šŸ˜€
I think the spillway looks neat.
