73/365 – The Holy Island of Lindisfarne

So, this weekend Wilko and I met up with Jude and on Saturday, we visited the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, off the north-east coast of Northumbria, England. The weather was overcast for the most part, and the wind was rather chilly, but it didn’t rain and we had a lovely time. Here are some photos of the island and the ruined priory.

So atmospheric! That is a very beautiful part of the world; would so much like to stand there and see it.
