177/365…..Herbs, Tomatoes and Peppers!

This is my peppermint and Rosemary plant.  They started out at small little plants. And now they’re thriving!

My peppers which also started how as small little plants, and now they’re growing! I have lots and lots of Cayenne Peppers!

My tomatoes are growing like crazy too. These are Early girl tomatoes, and they’re just delicious!

170/365…Summer’s coming.

I do container gardening and I’ve been doing that for the past couple of years.  This year I added some peppers (though the only ones ready so far have been the Banana Peppers), Rosemary, and Peppermint.

My dog, Charlie (the one on the right) with his best friend Emmy (The taller one)  while at their favorite place! The Dog park!

This is just a random photo of a little case I have that I used to house my little treasures and such. XD I have an old bottle of sake (It actually still has sake in it too!), an Egyptian Perfume bottle, and a little egg that a friend gave me back in High school.

94/365 – Fuchsia out of hibernation

So, I’ve just pulled out my hanging fuchsia from the basement where it’s been hibernating all winter. This is what it currently looks like – hopefully it’ll start going green, growing leaves, and then lots of flowers for the summer. This is the second winter I’ve hibernated it, so I’m rather surprised it’s survived!

92 / 365 – More Miscellanea

DSC02940

My backyard today. It would be interesting to compare it with next week, to see how much snow is left…

I tried to upload a 2nd photo, but it said “Not enough space to upload”. Have we reached our limit?

92/365: Light and Dark

Dark and light. Sunlight and shadow.

(Mist and shadow. Cloud and shade?)

I liked this picture I snapped at a stoplight today. I’m driving into a heavy-duty, spring thunderstorm. I believe I even caught a streak or two of lightning. Behind me, the sky is still clear and bright. I had seen a rainbow just a few minutes before this. (By the way, this is the most screwed up intersection in the history of intersections. You can see it here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Austin+Landing,+Miamisburg,+OH+45342/@39.596475,-84.2289009,309m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x8840898362e47f75:0xcc07bce84f72c28d )

impending storm

And this was from a hike the other day. I liked the sunlight coming through the reproductive structures of the moss on the limb of an Osage orange tree.

91/365…When All Else Fails…

Post a picture of your cat.

Sorry, had no picture this week, so I looked through my shots and found a cute one of my Pawsha. (as if any one of her pics aren’t cute…) She’s sitting on top the futon mattress my son bought a few months back.

90/365 Shaggy log

I was looking for some green in the midst of all the gray and brown outside, and found this log covered with moss. It looks like someone may live in there! It was still early in the day, so I didn’t wake them up.
